Lavender
and Helichrysm
These
two wonderful oils saved me from an insta-care visit.
On a weekend visit to my grandparents, in the
mountains near vernal, Paityn had an accident. She fell on the slippery hardwood floor and
smacked her face on her sippy-cup, splitting her lip. As I picked my crying child off the floor, I
noticed her lip was bleeding pretty bad. While trying to Apply pressure, my immediate thought was to
grab helichrysm (which of
course was no-where-to-be-found). So I applied Lavender 2x (about a minute
apart) and the bleeding literally stopped. During this time, cole and I were Contemplating a quick dash to the insta-care
for stitches. Paityn had stopped crying and sat calmly on dads lap. Throughout the next week we applied lavender
and Helichrysm a couple times a day and I could not be happier With the way it has healed. She had minimal
swelling in the beginning (went away within an hour), no pain stopped crying within 5 min and never cried about it again), no bruising at all, and currently has a little pink scar that is fading nicely.
